Evaluation and Research

Valad Solutions deliver comprehensive evaluation and research services which can be tailored to meet the needs of any client. These services include;

• Methodology design and development: Our team will collaboratively develop the evaluation or research methodology with clients, ensuring ethical practices and employed and rigorous and reliable data collection occurs.
• Surveys and data analysis: We can provide the design and delivery of a broad range of survey types and data collection methods. Within our team we have the expertise for high levels of data analysis, including the use of statistical data analysis software where large samples are required. Valad Solutions is able to analyse demographic and performance data to support policy options and evaluate implementation outcomes.
• Case studies: Valad Solutions provide both quantitative and qualitative solutions to clients’ research questions. Case studies may be included in the methodology to support survey data providing a deeper analysis of trends and issues or could be constructed independently to provide rich policy data.
• Focus Groups: Valad Solutions has a breadth of networks to draw on to provide focussed consultation on issues and questions to direct broader research initiatives. Our experienced facilitators are known for their ability to engage a broad range of focus group participants, including students, teachers, key stakeholders and senior executives.

The facilitation services available from Valad Solutions extends from the delivery of large events of significant scale through to unique and tailored experiences where an external facilitator can provide independence and transparency to the process.

Reviews and Audits

The Valad Solutions team is highly sought after due to their collective capacity to provide review and auditing services. These include system-level reviews of programs and policy, through to individual improvement reviews and compliance audits of schools across the government, independent and Catholic sectors.

The Company has provided review and audit services since 2009 as they relate to a broad range of legislation, Ministerial Orders and regulatory standards.

Our team has a detailed working knowledge of Ministerial Order 1359 – Implementing the Child Safe Standards – Managing the risk of child abuse in schools and school boarding premises, Ministerial Order 870 – Child Safe Standards and managing the risk of child abuse, Ministerial Order 706 – Anaphylaxis Management and Ministerial Order 1125 –  Procedures for the Suspension and Expulsion of Students in Government Schools.

They have strong understanding of the ETR Act and its Regulations as amended from time to time.  All are familiar with the evidence requirements under the Children Youth and Families Act 2005, the Equal Opportunity Act 2010, the Corporations Act, the role of the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission and its Register, the Working with Children Act 2005, The Crimes Act 1958, the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004, the Building Code of Australia, and the Australian Education Act and Regulations.

Team members have also been consulted on amendments to the Guidelines for School Registration and for Registration to provide an accredited Senior Secondary Course.
